Exercise
Because generalized anxiety disorder can affect people differently, you may find that taking up some form of regular exercise will have a positive effect on your life. It doesn’t matter whether you decide to sign up for a gym membership or just feel like starting a new exercise regime in the comfort of your own home, but whatever exercise you start, it will really help. This is because exercise helps to burn up the adrenaline and other stress related hormones that have been released and this in turn helps your muscles to relax. Specific mood enhancing hormones are also released during exercise and this can really give you an overall boost.
Confiding in Others
Whatever the cause of your anxieties, it really is good to talk. If you have a trusted friend or family member that you can discuss your biggest fears with, you will find that those fears are naturally reduced just through sharing. They may have even shared a similar anxiety experience and will be able to talk you through any possible solutions.
